King Charles’ Airplane Suffers Serious Damage Mid-Flight

King Charles and Queen Camilla Shared Aircraft for State Visit to France Last September

King Charles received distressing news as his plane encountered an unfortunate incident.

The monarch, accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla, often utilizes the Titan Airways Airbus for international travel. However, mid-air, an accident occurred, as reported by GB News.

According to the outlet, in October, while the aircraft was at an altitude of 14,000 feet en route from Stansted Airport to Florida, three windows detached from the plane.

Passengers noticed an increase in cabin noise, prompting a crew member to discover one window visibly loose in its frame.

The aircraft swiftly returned to the airport a mere 36 minutes after take-off, fortunately with no harm to the 24 passengers on board. Nevertheless, three windows had fallen off, and fresh impact damage was observed on the airplane's tail.

Interestingly, the King and Queen had used the same aircraft for a state visit to France just the previous September.

Moreover, the aircraft has been employed for other state functions by government officials such as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and various members of the royal family.

Analysts from the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) probed the incident and determined that the windows had contracted after exposure to "high intensity" lights used during the filming of an advertisement the preceding day.
