As the royal family navigates through a health crisis affecting key members, King Charles is facing increasing pressure to authorize Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice as active working royals.
According to insights shared with the Daily Mail by royal expert Phil Dampier, many royal charities and organizations are currently operating without the oversight of royal family members.
With King Charles and Kate Middleton taking a step back from public engagements due to their ongoing health treatments, and Prince William reducing his workload to manage parental responsibilities alongside royal duties, there is a noticeable gap in royal representation.
Dampier believes that Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, despite being the daughters of Prince Andrew who has faced controversy, could be valuable additions to fill this void. "Both Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are eager to contribute more and assist where needed. They just require the go-ahead," he commented.
Highlighting their potential, Dampier continued, "While they are Andrew's daughters, they should not be held accountable for his actions. Being high in the line of succession, they could serve as patrons for numerous organizations and charities. Given their existing patronage of around 30 organizations combined, a few more wouldn't be a stretch."
He further emphasized, "Both Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are articulate, intelligent women who have grown into roles as wives and mothers, bringing life experience to the table. As grandchildren of the late Queen, they would undoubtedly command respect and garner public support."
As the royal family contemplates potential shifts in roles and responsibilities, the possibility of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice taking on more prominent roles as working royals appears to be gaining momentum.
