Following Princess Eugenie's recent comments about King Charles's health, the monarch himself has offered a positive update regarding his well-being.
On Thursday, King Charles engaged in three private meetings at Buckingham Palace. Photos shared by GB News showcased the King in good spirits, while his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Eugenie participated in public events.
Despite reducing his public engagements due to ongoing cancer treatment, King Charles remains active in private meetings and official duties. During his recent engagements, Charles welcomed Mbelwa Kairuki and presented him with the Letters of Recall of his predecessor, along with his own letters of Commission as the High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London. Additionally, Ng Teck Hean, the High Commissioner of Singapore, presented his credentials to the King, and Charles received Mrs. Mok Ling Ling at Buckingham Palace.
Princess Eugenie had previously spoken about the King's health during a public event in London. While reading to school children at Elephant Family's Little Egg Hunt in Sloane Square, she mentioned that King Charles is "doing well" despite undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. In an interview with ITV News, Eugenie expressed confidence that her father would be "very proud" of her involvement with the charity, as it holds significant importance to him as well.
Yesterday, King Charles was spotted leaving his London residence in a separate car from his wife. As they made their way, well-wishers lined the Mall to greet and wave to the King and Queen.
