Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly gearing up for a strategic move aimed at garnering support from King Charles for their plan to assist the royal family amidst his and Princess Kate's health challenges, according to an expert.
The Duke of Sussex is inclined towards "helping alleviate the burden" on the royal family, particularly in light of Kate Middleton and King Charles' reduced public engagements following their cancer treatments.
Royal author Christopher Andersen, speaking to Hello! Canada, highlighted Prince Harry's eagerness to return to London and contribute to the monarchy's operations amidst the crisis caused by the health issues of King Charles and the Princess of Wales.
Andersen's remarks seemingly advocate for King Charles to consider Prince Harry and Meghan's request for part-time roles, emphasizing the benefits it could bring to the monarchy.
"It's important to recognize that the Prince of Wales is currently juggling the immense responsibility of maintaining both his family and the monarchy's stability while supporting his wife and father through their medical challenges. With such a heavy load, accommodating Harry's requests may not be feasible," Andersen noted.
The expert further emphasized that reintegrating the 'spare' prince into the royal fold could pose significant distractions despite Prince Harry's noble intentions.
"If they can set aside their grievances, Prince Harry and Meghan have the potential to offer invaluable support to the monarchy during this critical period," Andersen added.
However, Andersen revealed that during a recent visit to the UK, Prince Harry's attempt to meet with his brother was rebuffed by Prince William.
Prince Harry's upcoming trip to London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games event is anticipated, although it remains uncertain whether Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet will accompany him.
