Meghan Markle remains steadfast in her decision to prioritize her children's safety and well-being over potential reconciliation with the royal family.
According to royal expert Tom Quinn speaking to The Mirror, Prince William and Kate Middleton recently extended an unexpected invitation to Meghan and Prince Harry. They suggested a family reunion in the UK and specifically requested the presence of Meghan and Harry's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
However, Meghan is reported to have firmly declined the invitation due to concerns over the children's security and the intense media scrutiny they would inevitably face.
“There's no chance Meghan would consider bringing the children to the UK,” Quinn stated.
He further elaborated on the situation, saying, “William and Kate proposed the idea of Meghan and Harry bringing the kids for a family gathering in hopes of reconciliation, but it seems the suggestion hasn't made any progress."
As Prince Harry prepares for his upcoming trip to the UK to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games next month, it remains uncertain whether Meghan will accompany him. Sources suggest that Meghan's presence in the UK is contingent upon the safety and well-being of her children, Archie and Lilibet, implying that she may only travel if certain conditions are met.
