Meghan Markle's plans for relaunching her podcast, Archetypes, have hit a roadblock as its release has been postponed until next year.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex was compelled to delay the podcast's relaunch due to purported "scheduling conflicts" with her upcoming Netflix cooking show, as raised by her collaborator, Lemonada.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams expressed skepticism about the explanation, deeming it "suspicious" in a discussion with The Sun. Fitzwilliams remarked, "It's very strange to put something on ice for a year... This is very curious because usually when someone's doing well or in the news, you can't get enough of them."
Fitzwilliams raised concerns that the abrupt halt could be linked to Meghan's past criticisms of her husband Prince Harry's family. He suggested, "This is an opportunity to note that she's doing something that does not involve knocking the royal family... That's my concern because for four years or so, it seemed they did practically nothing else. That was painful. That's their problem... Now is most certainly not the time for that."
The delay in the podcast's relaunch has fueled speculation and drawn attention to Meghan and Harry's evolving public image and their recent endeavors.
