Prince Harry recently took a significant step to express his profound hurt over what he perceived as a vindictive act by his father, King Charles.
After being evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year, the Duke of Sussex officially changed his “primary residence” to his Montecito home, specifying the exact date of eviction.
This deliberate choice underscored Harry’s deep emotional response to the eviction, as shared by royal expert Tom Quinn. According to Quinn, Harry was “absolutely furious and in tears about being evicted from Frogmore.” He believed his father's action was purely vindictive.
Quinn explained that Harry failed to anticipate that relinquishing his role as a working royal would lead to losing his royal residence. The rejection from the monarch reopened old wounds, reminding Harry of the painful divorce between his parents.
