As Prince Harry prepares for his upcoming visit to his home country next month, his ongoing US visa case has become a source of immense stress for the Duke of Sussex.
Recently, the royal's visa application came under scrutiny by a federal judge to determine if Harry had been truthful about his past drug use. The Heritage Foundation's efforts to make Harry's visa details public have only added to his worries, according to royal expert and author Tom Quinn speaking to The Mirror.
Quinn explained that there's a possibility Harry could face deportation if discrepancies arise between his immigration forms and his disclosures in his memoir, "Spare." Despite the mounting pressure, Harry has sought the expertise of top-notch legal representation.
"While Harry is deeply troubled by the situation, he has spared no expense in securing the best legal counsel," Quinn revealed. He added that Harry's openness about his past drug use in his memoir might not have foreseen the potential complications it could pose to his visa application.
"He's incredibly naive, having grown up in a world where everything is done for you and you are automatically given advice and leaned on to do the right thing," Quinn remarked.
In his explosive memoir, "Spare," Prince Harry candidly detailed his history of drug use. However, lying on a visa application is considered a serious offense by USCIS, and if Harry is found to have been untruthful, deportation could be a real possibility.
