Amid her battle with cancer, Kate Middleton is reportedly finding solace in the company of Sarah Hanbury, whom some have linked romantically with Prince William.
After undergoing major abdominal surgery earlier this year, the Duchess of Cambridge retreated from the public eye. Only weeks before her return to official engagements last month, she disclosed her cancer diagnosis, seeking more time off for recovery.
According to OK! magazine, Kate relies on a close-knit group of friends, including Emilia Jardine-Patersosn, Sophie Snuggs, Lady Laura Meade, and the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, for practical and emotional support during her time in Norfolk with her family.
"Kate feels a sense of belonging in Norfolk," shared an insider. "She has several close friends there. The Van Cutsems and Tom and Polly Coke [Cook] are nearby. Laura Meade is a significant source of comfort for the princess, as are the Carter girls."
"These friends are her confidantes, with whom she shares everything, while she tends to keep others at arm's length," they added.
The growing closeness between Princess Kate and Sarah Hanbury has attracted attention due to speculation about the latter's alleged involvement with Prince William.
