Kate Middleton and Prince William Keep Low Profile During French Getaway
Princess Kate embarked on a secretive ski holiday with her sister, Pippa Middleton, just a year before her troubling cancer diagnosis.
According to Daniella Lawler's recent column in The Times of London, the sisters, accompanied by their husbands and young children, enjoyed an impromptu ski adventure in Méribel.
"They successfully kept their holiday under wraps, enjoying cozy après-ski lunches nestled in the snowy forest," Lawler revealed.
A source close to Pippa emphasized the strong bond among the siblings, stating, "The trio share an incredibly close bond, with Pippa not only being Kate's sister but also her trusted confidante and best friend."
James, the brother of the Princess of Wales, swiftly expressed his public support after Kate's cancer diagnosis was made public last Friday. Alongside a photo of the siblings climbing in the Alps, he captioned, "Throughout the years, we've faced many challenges together. As a family, we will face this one too."
In addition to the support from Pippa and James, Kate is leaning on her mother, Carole, and childhood friends as she navigates her treatment journey for the disease.
A source close to the royals shared, "Catherine will rely on her family and friends to maintain a sense of normalcy and positivity during her treatment." They added, "Her children are her top priority. She epitomizes the essence of motherhood, placing her role as a mother above her public duties."
