Royal Expert Discusses Prince Harry's Views on UK Safety and Security

Prince Harry's frequent visits to the UK, particularly in light of King Charles's cancer diagnosis, have sparked discussions about his perceptions of safety in Britain. A royal expert has shed light on Prince Harry's sentiments regarding the UK during a recent interview with GB News.

Former royal correspondent Charles Rae shared insights into the Duke of Sussex's views on traveling to the UK. "Prince Harry perceives Britain as one of the least safe countries globally. It seems he has overlooked the security challenges in the United States," Rae commented.

Rae also addressed Prince Harry's ongoing legal battle with the UK's Home Office concerning police protection. "He is contemplating another appeal, which could further strain public finances," Rae stated.

Regarding Prince Harry's entitlement to police protection, Rae clarified, "While he is not eligible for the police protection provided to the Royal Family, he is financially capable of arranging private security. Should he visit the UK and interact with Royal Family members, he will be safeguarded by the existing police protection."

Rae concluded by questioning the frequency of reminders Prince Harry needs about his status within the Royal Family. This response came following a query from host Emily about the ongoing legal expenses associated with Prince Harry's security arrangements, estimated to cost taxpayers between £500,000 and £1 million.

Despite these controversies, Prince Harry is scheduled to return to the UK in May to participate in a service at London's St Paul's Cathedral commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
