King Charles and Queen Camilla Prepare to Welcome Esteemed Guests to Buckingham Palace Next Month
The Royal Family has officially confirmed that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be hosting very important guests at Buckingham Palace in June.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Royal Family disclosed that Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako will be undertaking a state visit to Britain in late June, as guests of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
This announcement coincides with speculation surrounding a potential visit by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK, in order to attend the tenth anniversary celebrations of the Invictus Games.
However, the Palace has refrained from commenting on the anticipated meeting between the King and his estranged son, Prince Harry, amidst ongoing media coverage of their interactions with other members of the Royal Family.
It has been confirmed by the Palace that the British monarch will be resuming public duties after undergoing treatment and recuperation following his cancer diagnosis in February.
The Emperor and Empress last visited Britain in 2022 to attend the state funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth.
