According to GB News' Royal Correspondent, the couple must determine whether their children will participate in the King’s birthday parade, Trooping the Colour.
With Princess Kate currently out of the public eye, this decision holds added significance. The annual Trooping the Colour event, held every June, celebrates the sovereign’s birthday and sees senior Royal Family members in attendance.
Svar noted that Prince Louis often “steals the show” with his “cheeky” behavior during the parade and asked Cameron if we might see the young royals this year.
Cameron responded, “I suspect we will. We saw Prince George with his father at the FA Cup Final recently, so it’s clear William is comfortable with them being in the public eye. The Trooping is something they’ve attended almost every year.”
He added, “Even without their mother, I think they’ll be there. Everyone loves seeing cheeky Louis on the balcony."
In 2022, Prince Louis charmed the public by holding his ears during the flypast at Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee celebrations.
Cameron continued, “It would be wonderful to see the royal children on that balcony, especially after a tough six months for the Royal Family. The British public would really appreciate it.”
He noted, “However, the decision is up to William and Catherine. The children are very young, and if it’s too much for them given the princess’s condition, the public will understand.”
The Royal Family traditionally does not confirm the children’s balcony appearances ahead of time, but it has been confirmed that King Charles will attend the parade. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and the ever-entertaining Prince Louis will make an appearance.
