King Charles 'Too Busy' for Prince Harry, but Makes Time for David Beckham

Despite his son Prince Harry's request for a meeting, King Charles cited a "full diary of commitments" as the reason for his inability to meet. However, the monarch managed to carve out time for a private meeting with former England football team captain David Beckham at his country home in Highgrove, Gloucestershire.

Insiders revealed to The Sun that during their meeting, the two discussed the monarch's charity, the King's Foundation, established by Charles himself in 1986. This meeting follows Beckham's acceptance of an invitation in October to discuss potential charity collaborations with the King.

The news of Beckham's meeting with King Charles comes in contrast to Prince Harry's recent visit to London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Despite expressing his desire to meet with his father, Prince Harry issued a statement acknowledging that it would not be possible due to the King's busy schedule.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry stated that he understands his father's commitments and priorities and hopes for a meeting in the future. However, sources revealed to Page Six that Prince Harry had requested a meeting with his ailing father a month prior to his visit.

Meanwhile, Beckham, who was not only a friend of Prince Harry but also an ambassador for the Invictus Games, has distanced himself from the Duke following Harry's public criticisms of the Royal Family.
