King Charles, William, and Kate Receive Stern Warning from Anti-Monarchy Leader

Chief of anti-monarchy group criticizes King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate.

King Charles and his circle of working royals are facing demands for title removal from the chief executive of an anti-monarchy organization.

In a discussion with GB News host Cameron Walker on The Royal Record podcast, Graham Smith outlined Republic’s vision for a fully democratic and parliamentary system, advocating for an elected head of state to replace the constitutional monarchy.

Smith detailed the practical steps required to strip the royal family of their privileges, starting with their titles, in an effort to foster equality among citizens.

“Republic is about being equal citizens,” he stated. “In a republic like that, you can’t have aristocratic titles and royal titles.”

He elaborated, “So Charles would be Charles Windsor, a citizen like anyone else. He’d pay taxes like anyone else and would be free to stand for election or simply enjoy a luxurious life. He’d still be very wealthy but would be free from the obligations and titles of royalty, with a duty to pay taxes.”

Smith added, “If the royals were to lose their titles, they would no longer be addressed as His or Her Royal Highness, and all prince and princess titles would be removed.”

This stern warning underscores the ongoing debate about the future of the British monarchy and its role in a modern democratic society.
