While the Duke of Sussex is scheduled to attend the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, which he initiated in 2014, his wife is likely to remain behind, as indicated by royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.
Fitzwilliams, speaking to The Sun Online, suggests that Meghan is still contemplating her return to the UK. Meanwhile, Harry remains undecided and is not expected to be accompanied by Meghan, Prince Archie, or Princess Lilibet.
"I never anticipated Meghan's presence due to the hostility towards her here, a sentiment echoed in public opinion polls," Fitzwilliams remarks. "The media coverage, while expectedly unflattering, is a consequence of the Sussexes' actions over the past four years."
While it's uncertain, Fitzwilliams implies that Meghan is unlikely to attend the event, fearing that the negative attention surrounding her presence would overshadow the event's message of service.
Although Meghan's name appears on the guest list for the event at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8th, her attendance remains uncertain, leaving speculation about her potential involvement.
