Meghan Markle seems to be taking a different approach than Prince Harry when it comes to their ongoing rift with the royal family.
Royal expert Tom Quinn, in a conversation with the Mirror, shared insights into the Duchess of Sussex's feelings following their successful trip to Nigeria.
"Harry’s mental health has suffered as a result of the break with his family, but Meghan never doubts her decision to stop being a full-time working royal," Quinn remarked.
"Both Harry and Meghan come from dysfunctional families, but Meghan, being much tougher than Harry, relishes the battle. She feels that after being poorly treated in England, she has had her revenge," Quinn continued. "The Nigeria trip made her feel as she has always wanted – acknowledged as a member of the Royal family and celebrated as an important world figure."
For those unaware, Harry and Meghan reportedly angered senior royals, including King Charles and Prince William, by appearing to mimic working royals during their recent tour.
Ignoring the backlash, the Sussexes proudly discussed their plans for more tours like the one in Nigeria in a rare interview with People.
