In a candid moment, the Duchess of Sussex reflected on her time on "Suits" and life before royalty.
Meghan Markle revealed she received profound advice on achieving balance before her union with Prince Harry.
For those unaware, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are presently in Nigeria for an unofficial royal visit.
On May 11, Meghan participated in a panel discussion focused on Women in Leadership alongside her husband.
Reflecting on her acting days, the former actress reminisced, "During season one of Suits, which seems like ages ago now. Although the show is experiencing a resurgence, that feels like another lifetime. Let's say it was about a decade ago."
She then recounted advice from Bonnie Hammer, head of NBCUniversal.
"Mentorship has always been crucial, and Bonnie has been and continues to be a significant mentor to me. I vividly recall when she invited me to breakfast—it felt like the greatest honor," Meghan shared.
"I posed the burning question: 'How do you find balance?' Her response was profound: 'You don't. True balance may always elude you,'" added the mother-of-two.
Meghan emphasized, "This conversation happened before marriage, before motherhood—before life threw its unexpected curveballs."
However, she shared that with time, individuals can master the art of finding equilibrium amidst life's different phases.
