Marking six years of marriage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain unbothered and unfazed.
Amid past divorce rumors, royal expert and historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop affirmed that the Sussex marriage is “rock solid.”
After stepping down from their senior royal positions in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on an independent life in the U.S.
The royal rift, ignited by Megxit, has seemingly worsened, especially following the couple’s public criticisms of the royals. The latest point of contention is their recent tour of Nigeria, which has reportedly left King Charles and Prince William furious.
Despite these challenges, Dunlop emphasized that the “Harry and Meghan train is still gathering speed.”
“Never underestimate the power of love,” Dunlop told The Mirror. “No pending seven-year itch for them. They are too busy making new friends on royal (or rather non-royal) tours of Africa, enjoying pop-up appearances in St Paul’s and at polo matches, and hosting press conferences on subjects close to their hearts.”
“Despite the best efforts of the naysayers, their marriage looks rock solid,” she added.
“Harry has a new Californian glow, and Meghan, ever the actress, is never far from his arm, the adoring wife of a dashing Duke.”
