Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared in high spirits during their visit to a school in Nigeria, marking the first day of their tour.
Harry's demeanor was noticeably relaxed and joyful, a stark contrast to his more formal appearance in the UK just hours earlier. Body language expert Judi James noted this difference, suggesting that Harry's playful interactions with the children showcased his connection to his "inner child."
Speaking to the Mirror, James said, "Without the constraints of royal formality, and perhaps due to his own inner child, Harry skillfully uses mirroring, leading, and empathy to spark enthusiasm and fun among the children."
"His eye engagement is particularly adept, with raised brows, widened eyes, and a broad grin encouraging the kids to join in the fun. By getting down to their level, Harry’s expressions make him look like a child himself as he participates in the activities," she continued.
"The joy is clearly mutual. Not only does Harry encourage the children to enjoy themselves, but he also seems genuinely uplifted and delighted by the interaction," added James.
