Prince Harry has reportedly chosen to miss the wedding of his longtime friend Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, due to Meghan Markle's declining popularity in the UK.
For those unaware, Hugh Grosvenor, who is also a godfather to Prince George and Prince Archie, is set to marry Olivia Henson in June 2024.
Royal commentator Ingrid Seward told The Sun that the Duke of Sussex is expected to skip this major event to support his wife. She stated, "Harry and Meghan likely have no intention of flying 5,000 miles to attend a wedding. It's the society wedding of the year, but that society doesn't want them—especially Meghan."
Seward added, "I think the last thing Meghan wants is to travel to the UK, where she is deeply unpopular, and be put on display."
These comments come after royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK! Magazine that Harry is living 'under the shadow' of Meghan. He noted that Meghan is a very strong, driven, and ambitious individual, traits that often lead her to outshine Harry and capture the spotlight.
