According to MailOnline, the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly preparing for a possible run in the US presidential elections in the future.
Christopher Phelps, an expert on US politics, discussed the necessary steps for Meghan to gain public favor and win an election, drawing parallels to techniques used by her critic, Donald Trump. He also highlighted Harry's willingness to become a US citizen to support Meghan’s aspirations.
“It would be a great story. The British prince who loved her so much he gave up his British citizenship to become an American,” Phelps stated. “There would be no requirement for him to do it - but he would have to if she wanted to have any credibility.”
However, another political analyst advised against such a move, noting, “The buy-your-success approach is more typical of a Republican strategy. Meghan has political ambitions, but like many celebrities or businesspeople, they are not ready to put in the hard work to achieve them.
“Maybe Oprah Winfrey could pull it off. But she's earned her place in other ways. Meghan hasn't done anything comparable,” the analyst added.
