Prince Harry Wears Traditional Attire to Honor Nigeria Visit

Prince Harry, accompanied by Meghan Markle, paid homage to Nigeria by donning full traditional attire, gifted by Governor Uba Sani, during their recent visit.

The Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle embarked on a three-day visit to Nigeria, 34 years after Princess Diana and King Charles visited the country. Their trip aimed to explore Nigeria as a potential host for future Invictus Games.

On the first day, the couple visited a local school and later met with officials at Nigeria's Defence Headquarters. During the meeting, Governor Sani welcomed Harry and Meghan with a framed portrait of Princess Diana holding a young Harry, as well as another portrait of the couple on their wedding day. Additionally, Harry received various gifts and was honored with traditional Hausa attire.

The traditional dressing ceremony, where Harry was dressed in an Agbada, led to many social media users affectionately calling him a "Nigerian Prince."

During their visit, Harry also visited a hospital, engaging in heartfelt interactions with patients, including former army personnel recovering from injuries.

Prince Harry's tour of Nigeria with Meghan Markle holds special significance, marking a return to the country his mother, Princess Diana, visited with Prince Charles three decades ago.
