Prince Harry's Reaction to King Charles' Major Decision Unveiled

Prince Harry 'Feeling a Certain Disappointment' After King Charles Appoints William to Lead His Old Regiment

King Charles III beamed with pride as he bestowed the title of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps upon his eldest son, Prince William, during a ceremony in front of an Apache helicopter. This event marked a rare public appearance for the pair, as the King resumes his duties following a cancer diagnosis.

Prince William, edging closer to the British throne, was visibly moved while receiving this prestigious title from his father.

A royal commentator has disclosed Prince Harry's reaction to this significant decision by his father, suggesting the Duke of Sussex feels "disappointed" by this perceived slight from his family.

The Duke of Sussex served with the Army Air Corps during his second tour in Afghanistan until 2014.

Former BBC royal correspondent Michael Cole, speaking to GB News, speculated on Harry's feelings about the development. Cole noted, "Prince Harry will likely feel a certain disappointment, if not a personal slight, because this regiment, the Army Air Corps, was where he served valiantly in Afghanistan."

Cole also referenced Harry's controversial claim in his memoir "Spare," where he mentioned shooting 25 Taliban fighters, a statement that has painted a perpetual target on his back.

Reflecting on the lack of royal support during Harry's recent UK appearance at the Invictus Games, Cole suggested that Meghan Markle's husband might be feeling the weight of what he's lost. "His associations, his ranks, his patronages within the armed forces have been taken from him."

Cole added, "This is the life he left behind. He has chosen a self-imposed exile in California, and with that, he's lost a great deal. I think Harry will reflect on this as he returns to California after his tour of Nigeria, pondering the life he once had."

Presenter Emily Carver commended the King's recent actions, stating, "It makes me proud to be British," in response to Prince William receiving the royal honor.
