Preparations for Prince William's potential coronation already include a carefully curated guest list that may exclude Prince Harry, according to royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah.
Nikkhah suggested during a discussion with fellow correspondent Kate Mansey that William might not extend an invitation to Harry for a future coronation, given their deepening estrangement. She remarked, "If, god forbid, we were to have another coronation in the next few years, would Harry be there? I don’t think William would invite him. And I don’t think Harry would come. That’s an extraordinary thing, isn’t it?” as reported via Celebrating the Soaps.
The brothers' relationship has deteriorated notably since Harry's relocation to the United States with Meghan Markle and their children, fueled by Harry's public criticisms of the royal family.
Their divide became apparent following the late Queen's funeral in 2022, where they appeared together with their respective spouses for a walkabout in Windsor. Despite speculations about a possible reconciliation during that time, their differences remain unresolved.
During Harry's recent visit to the UK, there was no interaction between him and the future King of England, highlighting the ongoing tension. Additionally, Harry was unable to meet with King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment, due to the latter's busy schedule.
