Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have reportedly made significant sacrifices to maintain unity within the royal family.
The daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have apparently risked straining their relationship with their cousin Prince Harry in order to prioritize the harmony desired by King Charles and Prince William.
According to a royal commentator, Beatrice and Eugenie opted out of attending Harry's recent Invictus event in London to avoid exacerbating tensions within the royal family.
Although Princess Eugenie was the first member of the royal family introduced to Meghan Markle by Prince Harry, both sisters were notably absent from the event at St Paul's Cathedral last Wednesday.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggested that Beatrice and Eugenie would not have attended the event without the King's approval, emphasizing the importance of presenting a united front within the family.
"They [Beatrice and Eugenie] would not have been expected to be there because that would have been a sign of a split in the Royal Family," Fitzwilliams stated to GB News.
He further explained, "You would have had royals there, some there and not others, that would have been seized on. If you had any members of the Royal Family going, it would have been perceived as a split. There would have been no way Beatrice and Eugenie would have attended an event like that without the King's consent."
Despite their close bond with Prince Harry, Beatrice and Eugenie chose to stand with the monarchy, recognizing the potential risks to their relationship with Harry amidst the ongoing tensions between the Sussexes and senior royals.
