Reflecting on his attendance at Prince Harry's Invictus Games service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his sentiments.
Posting a photo of his Royal Scots Greys regimental cufflinks worn at the event, Charles Spencer expressed his hope that his late father would have approved of his choice. He wrote, "I hope my father would have approved that I wore his Royal Scots Greys regimental cufflinks at the moving celebration of 10 years of @WeAreInvictus at @StPaulsLondon yesterday."
Joined by their aunt, Lady Jane Fellowes, Charles Spencer attended the service commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the duke's charity foundation, which supports wounded servicemen and women.
Prince Harry appeared visibly pleased to see his maternal family members in the audience as he arrived at the church. He later delivered a poignant speech at the event, honoring fellow servicemen and their unwavering dedication to the country.
In his speech, Prince Harry quoted, "Now there are varieties of gifts, with the same spirit and there are varieties of services, with the same lord, and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same god who activates all of them in everyone." He continued, "To each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good. To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit. To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, gifts of healing by the one Spirit," concluding with heartfelt words of unity and appreciation.
