In a surprising move, Queen Camilla's friend has openly defied King Charles and Prince William to defend Prince Harry, igniting a wave of reactions across social media with her startling comments about the royal family.
Petronella Wyatt, who has known Camilla since the late 1980s, has called on both King Charles and his heir, Prince William, to reconcile with Harry amidst the ongoing family turmoil.
Writing in The Daily Telegraph, Wyatt argued, "The Windsors are in grave need of some pizazz."
Wyatt suggested that the royals should end their feud to present a united front, asserting, "Whether we like it or not, the Sussexes' Nigerian tour has been a triumph, and I cannot help but feel that a visible reconciliation between William and Harry would strengthen the unity of the House of Windsor and reassure the public of its commitment."
Defending Harry, Wyatt continued, "It's easy to blame him and his puerile book for the ongoing rift with his father and brother, but some courtiers I know hold William equally responsible."
Wyatt even claimed that it is William who is preventing King Charles from reconciling with Harry, citing a former courtier who described the Prince of Wales as exhibiting "mildly pathological" disgruntlement.
