Buckingham Palace is currently embroiled in a new royal dispute with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are willing to accept responsibility for the deepening rift between King Charles and the duke.
A recent report from The Times highlighted a conflict between the respective camps over the true reason for their failure to meet last week.
"Palace insiders and the Duke's camp are reportedly at odds over 'who was avoiding whom' in the latest behind-the-scenes clash to shake The Firm," stated the Daily Mail.
For those unfamiliar, the author of "Spare" flew to the UK to attend a service commemorating 10 years of The Invictus Games last Tuesday.
Upon his arrival, Harry released a statement via his spokesperson, citing his father's busy schedule as the reason for not meeting him, as the latter was battling cancer.
Additionally, the 75-year-old monarch was said to have declined an invitation from his son to attend the church service at St Paul’s Cathedral.
However, according to Harry's friends, King Charles not only did not receive any such invitation, but he had also offered the Spare author accommodation in a royal residence during his visit.
Meanwhile, individuals in Harry’s camp insisted that he had made a request to see his father weeks before his arrival, thus challenging the palace's explanation of the King's "full diary."
The true nature of the events remains uncertain, and it is prudent not to take sides until clarification is provided by either of the official teams.
