King Charles and Prince William are reportedly aligned in their approach to addressing the ongoing rift with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, the Monarch is 'concerned' about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's potential future actions against the royal family.
Speaking with The Sun, Fitzwilliams stated, "So far as King Charles is concerned, I think he and William are absolutely one at the moment on how to deal with these Sussexes."
However, Fitzwilliams emphasized the importance of understanding how Harry and Meghan wish to "deal with the royal family" moving forward. "In the weeks and months to come, we will see, and we will monitor, because what future have they got? What do they want to do? Is it just Netflix? Does she want to go into politics? All these questions," he added.
Harry and Meghan, who stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020, have frequently made headlines due to their controversial remarks about senior royal figures. Their relationship with the royal family has been further strained by high-profile events, including their interview with Oprah Winfrey and Harry's memoir, "Spare."
Fitzwilliams noted that a positive public statement from the Sussexes about the royal family could be beneficial, especially in light of recent royal health concerns. "If the Sussexes, in their public appearances, decided to say something nice about the Royal Family, something positive, I think that would be a step in the right direction," he shared.
