Amid ongoing developments at his royal estates, including Sandringham, the monarch has unveiled a new 'royal' item at the estate's restaurant, as reported by The Sun.
The restaurant, located in Norfolk, now offers homemade lamb, beef, and venison burgers, much to the delight of the public. Priced at £14.50, these burgers come with chips, coleslaw, and a choice of Sandringham IPA or Golden Bitter. Additionally, a plate of three mini burgers is available for £16.50.
A representative from the restaurant emphasized the estate's commitment to quality and sustainability, stating, "Sandringham Farms manage 2,400 hectares of land and eight tenants farm 4,000 hectares. Producing organic meat and a range of crops ensures a quality that remains local and minimizes our food miles."
This culinary update follows King Charles' recent initiatives to modernize and adapt the estate to future needs. Just two months ago, the King applied for planning permission to install approximately 2,000 solar panels on the historic grounds. This move aims to meet the current and anticipated future electricity demands of the Sandringham Estate.
