King Charles adamantly holds a grudge against his younger son, Prince Harry, despite his love for him.
The monarch cannot move past the explosive claims the Duke of Sussex made in his memoir and may never forgive him, according to royal biographer Christopher Andersen.
“The one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla,” Andersen said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
Andersen explained that no criticism of Camilla is accepted, and "unfortunately for Harry," he made "some pretty devastating" remarks about her.
Prince Harry "made it clear that he felt she was the villain in the piece. I think that still bothers the king, and I don’t know that it will be easy for him to forgive. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that."
Until King Charles and Prince Harry resolve this issue, the Duke “is on his own,” Andersen added. He also noted that Harry still "resents" Camilla, further complicating reconciliation.
Previously, reports suggested that the monarch was open to reconciling with his estranged son, especially after Harry rushed to meet his father following his cancer diagnosis. However, it appears the rift between father and son remains unchanged.
