King Charles Urged to Make a Decision on Harry and Meghan’s Titles, but Faces Opposition from William

Following their departure from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been under scrutiny regarding the potential removal of their royal titles. Speculation abounds on whether it would be advantageous for the couple to lose these titles, granted to them as a wedding gift by the late Queen Elizabeth in 2018.

After relocating to Montecito, California, the couple has been vocal in sharing controversial allegations about the Royal Family. This has prompted discussions about stripping their titles. Royal expert Tom Quinn believes that while removing their titles could impact Harry and Meghan, it may also provide them with a platform to further voice their grievances.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Quinn expressed that King Charles is eager to revoke the titles, but is cautious of the potential backlash. He noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might view this as confirmation of their victim narrative, leading to intensified public attention. However, Quinn cautioned that such a move could also lower their popularity.

Furthermore, Quinn highlighted concerns about the couple disregarding any ruling regarding their titles, potentially perpetuating tensions within the Royal Family. Despite discussions between King Charles and Prince William on this matter, there is reluctance due to fears of exacerbating the situation, as both royals are aware that Harry and Meghan may continue their activities unabated even without their royal titles.
