According to a royal commentator, Meghan could benefit from the royal family's hiatus.
For those unaware, the royal family has postponed engagements that might "divert attention or distract from the election campaign."
Tom Quinn told The Mirror that the Duchess of Sussex plans to use the "temporary absence of the senior royals" to promote her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
Quinn explained, "As the British public misses their regular royal updates during the pre-election period, it's natural they might turn their attention to the rebel royals."
He added, "From Meghan’s perspective, the absence of the senior royals is a golden opportunity to promote the Sussex Royal brand."
Quinn noted, "The timing is crucial for Meghan, especially after the criticism following the launch of her luxury jam, which could affect her uniquely named brand, American Riviera Orchard."
Tom believes Meghan is "in damage control mode and will eagerly take advantage of this opportunity."
