Reports suggest Prince Harry is encouraging Meghan Markle to rekindle her acting career.
Meghan Markle is reportedly considering a return to her acting roots amid talks of a potential Suits spin-off.
In an interview with People, Wendell Pierce, who starred alongside the Duchess of Sussex in the legal drama from 2011 to 2017, hinted at her interest in returning to the franchise.
He also emphasized her genuine relationship with Prince Harry, noting an encounter during an event in New York City last year.
"When [Meghan] came into town, she got an award last year, had a chance to say hello and wish she and Prince Harry well and wish the children well," the actor said.
Reflecting on their bond, Pierce added, "They look very much in love and were very happy, so that's the most important thing."
He continued, "I've gotten to see her just a few times since, and we've been able to reminisce, so it's real, we have fond memories of working together."
Although Pierce portrayed Markle’s father in the series, the show concluded after seven seasons due to her high-profile relationship with the Duke of Sussex.
Speculation about Meghan's potential return to television aligns with reports suggesting financial challenges for her and Prince Harry since stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
