Meghan Markle’s onscreen father, Wendell Pierce, shared insights into her marriage with Prince Harry amid the recent speculation.
The Duchess of Sussex, known for her role in the hit legal drama "Suits," has been the subject of rumors regarding marital issues with the Duke of Sussex.
In a comment to People Magazine, Wendell Pierce affirmed that the couple appears "very much in love" despite the rumors.
“When [Meghan] came into town to receive an award last year, I had the chance to say hello and wish her, Prince Harry, and their children well,” Wendell told the outlet at the 2024 Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday, June 16.
“They look very much in love and were very happy, so that's the most important thing.”
Wendell, who played Robert Zane, Meghan’s character Rachel Zane’s father on "Suits," reminisced about their time filming together, describing it as “a blast.” He noted that he has met with Meghan “a few times” since the show ended in 2019.
“I've gotten to see her just a few times since, and we've been able to reminisce. We have fond memories of working together,” the Tony Award winner shared.
