Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly diverging in their future plans, each focused on distinct ambitions that may lead them in separate directions.
According to royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, Prince Harry has been considering properties in the UK and seems resolute about his plans there, with or without Meghan Markle by his side.
“I hear that Harry is both content with his new lifestyle and homesick,” Schofield told Fox News Digital. “It just depends on the day. I’m sure Harry could get homesick, and we know that he is prone to wearing his heart on his sleeve.”
In contrast, Meghan Markle is concentrating on her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.
Schofield added, “The Duchess of Sussex has likely allowed him to explore acquiring an additional residence in the UK if it makes him happy, but I doubt she has any interest in being involved in the process or visiting.”
While Prince Harry is inclined towards a move to the UK, Schofield explained that he is cautious due to ongoing security concerns, stemming from his legal battle to reinstate his previous level of security following his step back from senior royal duties in 2020.
Grant Harrold, former butler to King Charles, had previously indicated to the New York Post that Prince Harry had been scouting UK properties.
However, Schofield believes that Meghan Markle would not accompany Prince Harry if he were to relocate temporarily to the UK, citing her feelings of rejection by the country and her current focus on gaining acceptance within Hollywood's elite circles.
“She feels rejected by the UK and that does not sit well with her,” Schofield claimed. “I don’t even think she has any desire to win them over again. Meghan is totally focused on winning over the elite in Hollywood, with jams and dog treats.”
