Prince Harry Faces 'Nightmare' Trying to Arrange Father's Day Call with King Charles

Prince Harry is reportedly experiencing a "nightmare" as he struggles to schedule a call with King Charles for Father’s Day, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, who moved from England to Montecito, California, four years ago, stepped down from his role as a senior working royal alongside his wife, Meghan Markle. Since relocating, Harry has rarely returned to the United Kingdom, making only a handful of visits. This year, he returned in February upon learning of his father's cancer diagnosis, spending about 30 minutes with him during a brief visit. He came back again last month for an Invictus Games event at St Paul's Cathedral but was unable to meet with the King due to conflicting schedules.

With Father’s Day approaching, Prince Harry is reportedly facing difficulties arranging a call with King Charles.

Royal author and expert Tom Quinn exclusively told The Mirror, "King Charles' birthday and Father’s Day are both a nightmare for Harry. He knows the world will be watching to see whether he is big enough to reach out to his father. He is determined to try to ignore his troubled relationship with his father and will certainly send a warm message.

"It’s easy to forget that Harry really does love his father; he just hates the fact that Charles always seems to support William when there is a family dispute."

Quinn also claimed that "Harry has tried to schedule a call with his father already, but his father is prevaricating, with Camilla advising against anything that might upset King Charles."

Father's Day falls on June 16, with the King's birthday on June 17, and his official birthday, the day he was born, on November 14, when he will turn 76.
