Prince Harry May Attend Trooping the Colour, Welcomed by King Charles

Prince Harry has reportedly received an open invitation to attend King Charles III's birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, where he would be welcomed by his father amid ongoing estrangement.

King Charles III is preparing for the event, and according to experts, Harry and Meghan have an open invitation to attend significant royal gatherings that are still available.

Daily Mail's Diary Editor Richard Eden shared on the Palace Confidential podcast, "There's said to be an open invitation for Harry and Meghan to attend any big royal events that are still available."

However, commentator Charlotte Griffiths expressed doubts about Meghan's potential attendance, recalling Meghan's uncomfortable first appearance at Trooping the Colour alongside Harry, noting an awkward exchange with Princess Kate. Griffiths speculated, "I just can't see him ever coming back without her, he just wouldn't do that, he wouldn't separate from her for long enough."

Since stepping down as senior royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry have not participated in Trooping the Colour events. They currently reside in Montecito with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The upcoming Trooping the Colour event may also see notable absences, including possibly Kate Middleton due to ongoing health issues. There's also speculation that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis might skip the event.
