Prince Harry is making big plans for his upcoming milestone 40th birthday, even as his rift with King Charles and the royal family deepens. According to sources, the Duke of Sussex is secretly looking for a home in the UK, hoping to reconnect with his old life.
An insider told Closer magazine that Harry misses the UK and is laying the groundwork to spend his 40th birthday with his blood relatives, leaving wife Meghan Markle behind. "He’s planning a trip over to the UK anyway to look for a new home and celebrate his 40th birthday, so it’ll be easy enough for him to drop by," the source revealed. "He’s fired up and vowing not to be kept away from his father forever."
Last month, Harry made a brief visit to his homeland for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, during which he was reportedly snubbed by his family. Despite this, the insider claims Harry is determined to mend his relationships with King Charles and Prince William. "Harry is deeply wounded by the behaviour of the King and his brother, and is willing to take all the chances he gets to make amends for his past actions," they said.
Harry is also focused on finding a permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he continues his legal action to secure taxpayer-funded security for his visits. Meanwhile, Meghan is not entirely supportive of Harry's plans, fearing he might be humiliated by his family.
