Prince Harry has been urged to make amends with his estranged brother, Prince William, during King Charles's lifetime.
Royal commentator Richard Eden, speaking with the Daily Mail, emphasized that “time is running out” for the Duke of Sussex to reclaim his position within the royal family.
“If Harry wants to come back at any stage, he needs to do it while his father is still King. I really do think that when Prince William is King, would he even take the call from his brother?” Eden wrote. He added, “I can’t really see William letting Harry come back and have a role again. Harry and Meghan Markle are irrelevant now and they are not wanted as part of the monarchy.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020. Since then, they have often been in the spotlight for their controversial remarks against senior members of the royal family.
However, following King Charles's cancer diagnosis, Harry has seemingly expressed a desire to rejoin the royal family. During a recent trip to Canada, he stated, “I love my family. The fact I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him? I'm grateful for that.”
This warning underscores the urgency for Harry to reconcile with his family while his father remains on the throne.
