The Duke of Sussex has been labeled an "arch-hypocrite" for allegedly preventing his children from experiencing the joys of growing up within the royal family due to his ongoing rift with them. Critics argue that Archie and Lilibet are missing out on invaluable time with their extended family, unlike other royal children.
US journalist Lee Cohen expressed his dismay, stating, "It is sad to imagine grandchildren not seeing their grandparents." Cohen added, "You want to believe that Harry is sincere in his efforts to see his father, especially during health challenges, and that he genuinely cares about his children knowing their family and heritage through him."
Cohen further remarked, "Who but an arch-hypocrite expresses love for and a yearning to see family while simultaneously betraying and attacking them? Family doesn’t seem important to Harry and his wife, who have created strained relationships not only for themselves but also for their children on both sides of the Atlantic."
He criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their apparent hypocrisy, narcissism, and self-interest, suggesting that their behavior indicates a lack of genuine care or attachment to family.
Reports indicate that while Harry wishes to bring Meghan and their children to the UK, he remains wary about their security. He even pleaded with Meghan to join him for the Invictus Games ceremony, but she declined, citing safety concerns.
Meghan Markle has reportedly expressed that she does not feel safe bringing their children to the UK. Since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan relocated to the US after a brief stay in Canada to start their new lives.
