Prince Harry's Demand for Special Protection Raises Eyebrows

Prince Harry has been granted an appeal this week following a February decision regarding his security in the UK, a move that has drawn criticism from a royal biographer.

The youngest son of King Charles III, Harry has been vocal about feeling "unable to bring his wife Meghan or their two children due to safety concerns." This concern has led to his request for enhanced security during visits to the UK.

Royal author Angela Levin criticized Harry's "arrogance" over the ongoing court battle, suggesting that he had "tried to jump the queue" to expedite his appeal. Levin argued that if Harry's level of protection is granted, the British public would be "very annoyed."

"I can't see how you can keep on going back again and again, but he's very determined," Levin said. "He's absolutely determined."

Conversely, commentator Mark defended Harry, emphasizing his royal status and inherent need for security. "Harry is the King's son," Mark stated. "Needing the level of security he requires is not a choice he's made, but it is his birthright. How would we feel as a country if, God forbid, something happened to Harry?"

Levin countered, explaining that Harry receives top-tier protection for royal duties but only lower-grade security for personal visits. "If you step down from being a royal, you can't expect the same sort of attention," she said. "He can pay for it if he wants to for himself, but he can't expect us to pay for him and his family all the time."

Levin concluded, "He doesn't get that. But you have to accept that, you can't take it out of the Government. It's just not right."
