As Father's Day approaches, Prince Harry finds himself missing his father, King Charles, even more deeply amidst their increasing distance.
Grant Harrold, the former butler to the King, shared with Entertainment Daily the annual tradition observed by royal brothers Harry and Prince William with their father on this special occasion.
"They always made a point to show their appreciation towards him," Harrold noted, highlighting the significance of the day, particularly since Charles is their sole parent. "When you have only one parent, you tend to put more effort into celebrating these moments," he explained. "It was certainly a happy time for them, but it was a private affair kept behind closed doors."
Harrold added that the tradition often included a family lunch or dinner, emphasizing its intimate nature and the close bond shared among them.
Meanwhile, Prince William reportedly honored his father with a card and gift during yesterday's Trooping the Colour ceremony.
"Father’s Day holds great importance for William, shaped by his upbringing," Harrold remarked, underscoring the heir's commitment to enjoying such occasions with his own family.
