Prince William and Kate Middleton are on the hunt for a new member to join their team of palace staff.
An advertisement by the Household of TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales, posted on LinkedIn, reveals that the couple is looking to hire a Correspondence Specialist. This role will provide "comprehensive support in relation to correspondence received by Their Royal Highnesses."
The full-time position's duties include "managing the Household's correspondence process, offering suggestions for improvements, and delivering timely, well-written, bespoke responses to letters received regarding TRH subject areas."
The new hire will collaborate with the in-house Communications and Visits & Events teams, the Private Secretaries Office, and the general Correspondence team at Buckingham Palace.
Additionally, the role involves working with external organizations, local authorities, government agencies, and charities, as well as traveling to other royal residences across the UK to fulfill job requirements.
The required skill set for the position includes top-notch communication skills, the ability to make decisions about “appropriate responses and course of action,” the capacity to “understand and interpret complex portfolio-related information,” and the ability to collaborate with relevant parties.
The Household specifies that the individual must be "enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive" with "strong administrative and organizational skills."
