Prince William Honors King Charles on Father’s Day, Showing More Respect Than Prince Harry

Prince William marked Father's Day by publicly honoring his father, King Charles, highlighting the respect he holds for the monarch— a contrast to his brother, Prince Harry.

According to a royal expert, despite King Charles's love for Prince Harry, he struggles to forgive his son for the revelations in his memoir, Spare. The report indicates that while the King clearly adores Harry, he finds it challenging to overlook what he perceives as Harry's indiscretions.

Royal biographer Christopher Andersen suggests that Charles may never fully move past Harry's criticisms, particularly those directed at Camilla. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Andersen stated, "No criticism of Camilla could be deemed acceptable. Unfortunately for Harry, he has said some pretty devastating things about her."

Andersen elaborated, "Prince Harry made it clear that he felt she was the villain in the piece. I think that still bothers the king, and I don’t know that it will be easy for him to forgive. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that." He added that Harry still "resents" Camilla and, until that issue is resolved, the Duke "is on his own."

The report follows comments from royal commentator Lizzie Cundy, who criticized Harry for not publicly acknowledging Father's Day. Cundy remarked, "I thought it was very poignant that Prince William sent this beautiful post. It shows the bond they still have and the respect he has for his father, while Harry was very noticeably absent."

Speaking to GBN America, Cundy continued, "Let’s not forget, this is a 75-year-old man suffering with cancer, going on with all his duties. At Trooping the Colour, he stood there in the pouring rain. You just think, ‘Wow, this man is absolutely incredible’, he is everything Harry isn’t."

Cundy concluded by expressing her disappointment in Harry's behavior, suggesting that even if Harry celebrated his father privately, his public silence is inexcusable. She stated, "Harry just seems to have lost the plot. And how hurtful indeed not to even send a Father’s Day message. Normally, Harry and Meghan are very vocal, but if they can’t post a Father’s Day message, that’s unforgivable."
