Princess Anne Experiences Memory Loss After Horse Incident

Princess Anne is currently recovering in the hospital after a horse struck her on the head, leading to a concerning bout of memory loss.

The Princess Royal is reportedly struggling to recall the details of the incident that necessitated her hospitalization this past Sunday, according to the Daily Mail. Eyewitnesses report that she suffered minor injuries and a likely concussion during a walk around her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.

As a result of her injuries, all of Princess Anne's scheduled engagements have been canceled, including a planned working visit to Canada later this week. She is currently receiving treatment at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Fortunately, Anne is reported to be conscious and in stable condition, with expectations for a full and rapid recovery. A discharge from the hospital is anticipated later this week.

This latest health scare for the 73-year-old royal follows closely after her brother, King Charles, and Kate Middleton faced their respective health battles.

Buckingham Palace has issued a statement indicating that King Charles has been kept up-to-date on his sister’s condition and "joins the entire Royal Family in extending his deepest affection and best wishes for her swift recovery."

In the meantime, King Charles is preparing to host the Emperor and Empress of Japan for a state visit, which includes a ceremonial welcome on Horse Guards Parade later today.
