Princess Charlotte granted new titles as mum Kate Middleton beams at daughter's support
Princess Charlotte is taking on a new role as the young royal is granted a new title, much to the delight of royal watchers.
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made a highly anticipated return to the public eye at the annual Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday. This marked her first public appearance in six months following abdominal surgery and three months after sharing her cancer news.
Body language expert Judi James, in her analysis for The Sun, observed that Charlotte seemed to play an active role, dubbing her “Kate’s wing-woman.” James noted, “There were strong hints that Charlotte is the child primarily protecting and supporting Kate at this event.”
“Sitting opposite her mother, Charlotte performed the kind of body language rituals that Kate would normally do, smiling over her shoulder at the crowds and waving with enthusiasm. Like Kate, her smile was almost constant,” James added.
James also highlighted that Charlotte was the first to exit the carriage, forming a sweet and touching line facing her mother to greet her as she alighted with caution, almost acting as Kate’s “personal guard of honour.”
According to James, Charlotte has “stepped up to help take over some of her mum’s public role,” even displaying a knack for disciplining her younger brother, Prince Louis, on several occasions.
Kate Middleton’s return, coupled with Charlotte’s supportive role, has captured the hearts of many, showcasing the strength and unity within the royal family.
