Princess Kate and King Charles have quietly extended support to each other as they both undergo treatment for cancer.
In a notable display of unity, the Monarch and the future Queen of England made a joint appearance at the recent Trooping the Colour parade, standing side by side on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Royal editor Emily Nash told The Sun that their appearance was "interesting but I don't think it's particularly choreographed." She explained, "Just the fact that they have naturally arranged themselves in that way. And the way they were chatting to each other shows a great deal of affection between them, indicating that they have this shared experience now."
Nash believes their positioning could have been a "tacit show of support" between the Prince of Wales and King Charles.
Furthermore, the royal expert noted that Kate and Charles's cancer diagnoses have "brought them even closer" to each other. She added that the King of England must be "really happy" that Princess Kate was "back there alongside them all" after a long break from royal duties due to her illness.
