Eager to support King Charles during his upcoming milestone event, Kate Middleton is considering a public appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 15th, according to the Daily Express. This would continue her long-standing tradition of attending the event.
However, her participation hinges on approval from her medical team, who are cautious about her health following her recent cancer diagnosis. The future Queen of England has stayed out of the public eye since announcing her condition via a video message in March.
Kensington Palace recently confirmed that Kate will not take part in the Colonel’s Review, scheduled for the weekend before the King’s official birthday. Nonetheless, her attendance at the main event has not been ruled out.
In early March, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) mistakenly announced Kate’s participation in the review on the Army’s official website. This information was quickly retracted after objections from the Palace, who had not been informed of the update.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams remarked that Kate’s appearance on the balcony “would be a clear sign that she is improving and it would make this magnificent display of pageantry a truly joyous occasion,” as reported by the outlet. He added, “It would give the occasion a tremendous boost if it were possible for Catherine to appear on the balcony after Trooping the Colour.”
